Firefighter - Halifax Stanfield International Airport - Goff's, Nova Scotia - 2026
Reporting to a Platoon Chief, this position will participate in a training and development program to become a qualified Aircraft Rescue Firefighter (ARFF) at Halifax Stanfield International Airport. ARFF are responsible for providing specialized aircraft rescue firefighting and to ensure protection of the airport community and traveling public. ARFF are also responsible for providing medical first response support to the traveling public and airport community. Key activities include response to aircraft incidents, medical first response, fuel spill mitigation, fire prevention inspections and maintenance of equipment.

Classification: 85% of BAND 10 ($41.40 - $44.90 PER HOUR) until all requirements are met, then ($48.70 – $52.82 PER HOUR)
