We are looking for a thoughtful Founding Contributor Writer who enjoys exploring the beauty of ordinary life through personal essays, literary nonfiction, cultural commentary, and reflective storytelling. This is a volunteer opportunity ideal for writers looking to get published, expand their portfolio, and shape the voice of a growing independent publication.

• Collaborate closely : Work through a supportive, constructive editorial review and revision process.
• Maintain consistency : Contribute to a fixed publishing schedule and meet a monthly article quota.

Who We Are Looking For

• Literary voice : Writers who enjoy reflective or literary writing and possess a unique perspective.
• Coachability : Creators who are open to thoughtful, collaborative editorial feedback.
• Values alignment : Individuals who prioritize depth, curiosity, and authentic storytelling.
• Aesthetic match : Writers interested in our core themes: Slow Living, Creativity, Modern Womanhood, Culture, Literature, Mindfulness, Identity, Personal Essays, Poetry, and Everyday Beauty.

What You Will Receive

• Guaranteed bylines : Publication in Sheon Magazine with a professional author byline.
• Portfolio growth : A structured platform to showcase your polished, edited work to a broader audience.
• Editorial mentorship : Hands-on feedback from our editing team to help strengthen your writing.
• Community access : The opportunity to connect and grow with our tight-knit circle of Founding Contributors.

Compensation & Future Vision This is currently an unpaid volunteer contributor opportunity. As an independent startup publication, we are focused on cultivating a thoughtful community of writers and artists.
