Laundry Worker

What the job is
This is a laundry worker job at Chris Hani Baragwanath Laundry in Johannesburg, Gauteng. You will help keep hospital laundry clean and organized. There are 16 positions available.

What you will do
- Collect dirty laundry from the hospital.
- Sort laundry by type.
- Prepare laundry for washing.
- Iron, press, and fold clean laundry.
- Check the quality of finished laundry.
- Wear a uniform and name tag every day.
- Follow health and safety rules.
- Work shifts and overtime when needed.
- Keep the laundry area clean.
- Attend meetings and training.
- Follow instructions from supervisors.
- Help with other laundry tasks as needed.

What you need
- Grade 10 or equivalent (AET Level 4).
- No experience needed.
- Basic understanding of health and safety rules.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime.
- Reliable and self-motivated.
- Experience in a similar job is a plus but not required.
